Apple Forces Recyclers to Shred All iPhones and MacBooks

by
Sage

"No reuse. No parts harvesting. No resale."

This is Apple's position, according to this sobering article by Jason Koebler for Motherboard. Even more troubling: Apple seems to be forcing its third party recyclers to shred all product collected through its programs - not just Apple product.

Sage's opinion on this should surprise no one: we're against it because it's simply wasteful. It's also lame. Get with it, Apple! Reuse is sexy and cosmic.

If you want to support a better model, head on over to the Sage Shop, and become part of the reuse revolution!
